“30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from RadioShack.com. If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling or other additional charges.

The item must be returned in good condition, in original boxes, and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit. Please see our Return Rules and Restrictions and Return Exceptions before returning your item.

Information for international customers or customers traveling internationally: products purchased on RadioShack.com, our call center or through our retail locations in the United States cannot be returned for refund or warranty repair at any of our international locations.

Return Instructions

Instructions for returning an item to a RadioShack retail store or our online store are listed below:

Please refer to your packing slip for specific return instructions, as some items may not be eligible for both return options. If you no longer have the packing slip, first check to see which return options are available by following these steps.

Returns to a RadioShack Retail Store

Please note that some items purchased online at RadioShack.com may NOT be returned to a RadioShack retail store. Check the packing slip for specific instructions.

Here are the basic steps:

  1.          Find the nearest retail store by using our Store Locator.
  2.          Before visiting the store, place the item securely in the original package.
  3.          Enclose the original packing slip with the item. If you no longer have the packing slip, bring a copy of your Ship Confirmation e-mail or your online purchase receipt displayed during Checkout.
  4.          All products must be returned in good condition, in original boxes, and with paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure a full credit.
  5.          Take the package to any RadioShack retail store.
  6.          The store associate will process your return and issue you a credit. Please allow 10-15 business days for the credit to appear on your billing statement. Please note that your original shipping costs will not be refunded.

Returns by Mail

Please note that items purchased at a RadioShack retail store may NOT be returned by mail to our online store.

Here are the basic steps:

  1.         Please refer to your packing slip for specific return information. If you no longer have the packing slip, follow these steps. 
  2.         Pack the item securely in the original package, if possible. Enclose the return portion of the original packing slip with the item.
  3.         All products must be returned in good condition, in original boxes, and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit.
  4.         All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  5.         Contact RadioShack.COM’s Customer Service Department at 1.800.843.7422 (1.800.THE.SHACK) to obtain your Return Authorization Number. Once you have obtained your Return Authorization Number, ship the return package to the address provided by Customer Service. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for your return.
  6.         Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to the warehouse. 
  7.         You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase usually within 10-15 business days of our receiving your returned product. Delays may be experienced in the case of incomplete returns. Please note that your original shipping costs will not be refunded.

Returning an Oversized Item

We cover shipping charges on returned Oversized Items only if the item arrives at the designated shipping address defective or damaged. We do not refund shipping charges on Oversized Items that are returned due to “buyer remorse.”

Follow these steps to return an Oversized Item:

Please refer to your packing slip for return information.

The item(s) must be unassembled and packaged securely in original packaging if possible.

Enclose the return portion of the original packing slip with the item.

Contact a Customer Care Representative at 1-800-843-7422 to receive instructions on arranging for a freight delivery company to pick up your item(s). Please have your order number available when you call.

You must be home at the time of pick-up and the item(s) must be at the door for the freight driver.

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 10-15 business days of our receiving the item(s). Please note that your original shipping costs will not be refunded.

If there is extensive damage to an item upon delivery, call a Customer Care Representative immediately at 1-800-843-7422.

Return Rules and Restrictions

Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

You must include the return portion of the original packing slip. Be certain to save copies for your records. If you no longer have the packing slip, follow these steps.

Shipping and handling costs and other additional charges are non-refundable.

We will not accept CODs or third party billing for returned merchandise.

If there is extensive damage to an item upon delivery, call a Customer Care Representative immediately at 1-800-843-7422.

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 10-15 days of our receiving your returned product.

If you choose to return your online purchase to one of our retail stores, you must present the original packing slip, Ship Confirmation e-mail or your online purchase receipt displayed during Checkout. Without a receipt of any kind, you will be issued a Gift Card (or exchange) for the most recent selling price of the item.

Items purchased at a RadioShack retail store may NOT be returned to our online store.

Some items purchased online at RadioShack.com may NOT be returned to a RadioShack retail store. Check the packing slip for specific instructions.

Return Exceptions

 

Our standard return policies do not apply to all items. If an item cannot be returned, it will be noted beside the item on the product detail page and in your Shopping Cart.

Non-refundable items include:

opened software or kits

electronic media products that are not defective (CD-ROMs, DVDs, Computer Games, Software, VHS Tapes)

Software and Games will be accepted as a return if the package is unopened, or as an exchange if the Software or Game is defective.

A defective item may be repaired or replaced within 90 days of purchase under RadioShack’s 90-Day Limited Warranty Policy, or within the manufacturer’s warranty period, whichever is longer. Contact a Customer Care Representative at 1-800-843-7422 for assistance.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Care Representative immediately at 1-800-843-7422. Please supply the Representative with your order number, item number and tracking number from your original confirmation e-mail. The Representative will also need your e-mail address and phone number. RadioShack.com will make every reasonable effort to assist you with your return. If you do not contact Customer Care, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.

A defective item may be repaired or replaced within 90 days of purchase under RadioShack’s Warranty Policy, or within the manufacturer’s warranty period, whichever is longer. Contact a Customer Care Representative at 1-800-843-7422 for assistance.

Product Warranties

Many of the items that are sold on RadioShack.com come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Applicable warranty information can usually be found inside the box or packaging. For additional information on the manufacturer’s warranty for a specific product, contact the manufacturer directly.

RadioShack.com provides a 90-Day Limited Warranty for products whenever the manufacturer provides no warranty or a warranty of less than 90 days.

The NEW extended service plan is not available for products being shipped to the following states: ME.

Warranty Rules & Regulations

Except in California, RadioShack makes no additional warranties of any kind, express or implied, for any product manufactured by a party other than RadioShack that comes with at least a 90-day warranty from the manufacturer.

EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED: (1) FOR ALL ‘AS IS’ SALES; AND (2) UPON THE LATER TO OCCUR OF: [A] THE EXPIRATION OF ANY APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTIES, OR [B] 90 DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.

RadioShack is not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages), caused directly or indirectly by the products listed on this receipt. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties (such as warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose), or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. In addition, you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

 

Products which have been subject to misuse (including static discharge), neglect, accident or modification, or which have been soldered or altered during assembly and are not capable of being tested are excluded from any warranty by RadioShack.com.

The products we sell are not authorized for use as critical components in human implantable devices, or life support devices or systems. A critical component is any component of a human implantable device, a life support device or system, whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to cause the failure of the implant, life support device or system, or to affect its safety or effectiveness.

Many other products offered in the RadioShack Catalog or on this web site are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. A copy of a specific warranty, where one is offered by a warrantor, will be made available for inspection before sale, upon specific request by our Catalog Number.

We supply many products that meet military specifications as represented by the manufacturer. We do not maintain traceability on these products; therefore we only supply them as commercial parts.
