Advance Auto Parts Return / Refund / Exchange Policies
The Advance Auto Parts customer satisfaction guarantee says that you can return items within 90 days with no issue, but you can return items after the 90 days as well – but only for a merchandise credit. Be aware that Advance Auto Parts reserves the right to refuse a refund for any reason, leaving the consumer with little recourse in a dispute.

It is Advance Auto Parts policy for any customer not completely satisfied with their purchase to return it along with the original receipt to any Advance Auto Parts store. Return within 90 days of purchase and we will gladly exchange it or refund your money based on original method of payment 1
Returns with original receipt after 90 days
A merchandise credit may be issued for the original purchase price
Returns without the original receipt
For returns without a receipt, a merchandise credit may be issued upon presentation of a valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, Permanent Resident Card or Border Crossing Card). Returns will not be accepted without a valid ID.
Advance Auto Parts reserves the right to request valid identification prior to accepting merchandise returns, exchanges and warranties. Advance Auto Parts reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return merchandise at any time and for any reason.
Merchandise credit may be used for purchasing new merchandise. No cash refunds will be issued.
