The Bay Return / Refund / Exchange Policies
Synopsis
The Bay has an easy return policy, with a 90 day return time limit (less for furniture, mattresses, major appliances, patio furniture, and Home Electronics). Returning without a receipt will result in the lowest sale price being refunded; since no time window is specified the difference in price can be substantial (e.g. boxing day sale price).

“Returning or Exchanging Items
Your original receipt must accompany your returned item(s) to process your refund. All returned items must be in their original state, with all tickets attached and deemed by the Bay to be unworn / undamaged before they can be accepted for a refund.
Merchandise can be returned up to
* 90-days if purchased with an Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard.
* 60-days for furniture, mattresses, major appliances and Patio Furniture
* 30-days for Home Electronics.
Returns may be subject to a restocking fee or disposal fee for mattresses.
Merchandise can be returned / exchanged up to 30 days if purchased with any other tender type, and the refund amount will be applied to original tender.
After 30 days, and up to a period of 60 days, the refund amount will be applied to an Hbc Gift Card.
Merchandise returned/exchanged without a receipt, will be refunded to an Hbc Gift Card at the lowest sale price. For audit purposes, we ask that you provide us with your name, address and telephone number.
Valid photo ID may be required
Price adjustments will be made with a receipt, within 7 days of purchase.
Merchandise returned with a gift enclosure receipt will be refunded on an Hbc Gift Card.
Refunds / exchanges are not permitted after the allowable return period.
Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to exchange it, you may return it in accordance with our return policy and then call 1-800-521-2364 with your original order number. We’ll be happy to replace your order for you. You will not be charged shipping costs on the new order.

If for any reason you find yourself unsatisfied with your purchase, The Bay provides its customers with Easy Returns. With Easy Returns at The Bay, you can return or exchange your purchase to any Bay store location, provided the merchandise is in its original packaging and proof of purchase is presented.” – The Bay website
