Return Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase from World Market. If you are not happy with any of our products for any reason, we'll gladly refund your money within 60 days of purchase.
All products sold at World Market are not for commercial use and are intended for residential use only.
Online Returns
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, most items may be returned by mail or at any of our World Market store locations in original condition within 60 days of purchase. Returns will be refunded in the same form of tender as the original transaction (see below for returns exceptions). Online Orders Returned to Store
For your convenience, you may return most items ordered online to any World Market store for a refund or exchange (see below for returns exceptions). Returns must be accompanied by the packing slip/shipping receipt and in original condition. Returns will be refunded in the same form of tender as the original transaction.
If returned to a store without the packing slip, store credit will be issued at the lowest selling price within the past 60 days for merchandise returned in its original condition, with the exception of the department listed within the exceptions list.
Returns to a World Market store location after 60 days of purchase will be issued store credit.
A Gift return to a store can be issued to the original purchaser or you may choose to be issued store credit.

Affirm Purchases – Returns & Refunds (Online & In-Store)
General Return Instructions
To return an item or cancel your order, please contact the store where the purchase was made. The store will follow its own policies regarding returns, cancellations, missing items, or damaged/defective products.
Affirm cannot issue refunds or cancel transactions until the store confirms the return or cancellation.
What Happens After a Refund Is Issued
Once Affirm receives confirmation and the refund from the store, it will automatically attempt to match the refund to your purchase:
Loan Transactions: The refund will go toward your loan balance, starting with your most recent payment. If the loan has interest, any interest accrued after the refund is received will be reimbursed.
Pay-in-Full Purchases: Refunds for pay-in-full purchases will be sent to your linked bank account within 1–3 business days.
Unmatched Refunds: If Affirm can’t match the refund to a specific transaction, you’ll get a prompt in the app to assign it yourself. You’ll have 2 days to do this. If no action is taken, you’ll have the option to provide a bank account for the refund to be deposited.
In-Store Purchases Using Affirm, If You Used the Affirm App in Store
If you paid in store using the Affirm app through Apple Pay or Google Pay, return the item by:
Opening your Apple/Google Wallet.
Tapping to pay at the PIN pad using your Affirm virtual card.
Ensure the loan is still active; if the loan is paid off or closed, contact Affirm Customer Care at (855) 423-3729 for assistance.
Online Purchases Using Affirm Returned In Store
If you made a purchase on WorldMarket.com using an Affirm virtual card and wish to return in the store. Take your items to be returned and the store will help to process your return through our customer service team, for a seamless return process.
Online Purchases Using Affirm Returned through Mail

Preparing Your Return by Mail
Small Parcel (I.E. FedEx) Returns
Detach the top of the invoice and keep it for your records.
Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging.
Complete the return reason questionnaire on the original packing slip and place it inside the box.
If your shipping receipt included a pre-paid return label, please affix it on to your return package.
Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
Many of the orders will include a prepaid UPS return label. If using the pre-paid return label, please follow steps 1-5 directly above and proceed to drop off your package at any UPS drop off location. No postage is necessary; $6.50 will be deducted from your return credit for use of the label.
If you would prefer to use your own shipping method instead of the pre-paid option on the packing slip or the label was not included on your packing ship, please follow steps 1-3 above and contact World Market Customer Care at 1-877-967-5362 for help facilitating your return to the returns processing center.
Freight Returns
If you are not satisfied with the purchase, and the item was originally delivered by one of our oversized freight companies, please call the World Market Customer Care Team at 1-877-967-5362 for help with your oversized return.
Call Customer Service
Please contact World Market Customer Care at 1-877-967-5362, or, click here for our email help form oversized, damaged, or defective items within 30 days after the item has been received. Have this information handy from your confirmation email containing: Order number, item number, tracking number, your email address, and your phone number.
Returns Exceptions
Items designated as "Online Only" cannot be returned to a World Market store location. They must be shipped to the World Market Returns Department prepaid and insured by the customer. This information is detailed in Returning an Item and is also printed out and included with your order.
Shipping Expenses are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a manufacturing defect or our shipping error. If such an event occurs, please contact World Market Customer Care at 1-877-967-5362, or, click here for our email help form to arrange the return and we will refund all shipping expenses.
Gift Cards are not returnable.
Gift Wrap fees are non-refundable unless an item is damaged or defective.
Items purchased from a World Market retail store cannot be returned by mail.

With an Online Gift Receipt/Invoice, an Online gift can be returned. A return or exchange will be offered to the original purchaser, or an in-store credit will be issue to the gift recipient.

Price Adjustments
If an item you purchased is offered at a lower price within 10 days of your original purchase, you may receive a price adjustment. Store Returns
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, most items may be returned at any of our World Market store locations in original condition within 60 days of purchase. Returns will be refunded in the same form of tender as the original transaction. PayPal purchases will be refunded in Cash. We can look up a receipt electronically for purchases made with a credit card or World Market Rewards number within 60 days.
Returns to a World Market store location after 60 days of purchase will be issued store credit.
A Gift return to a store with the original gift receipt will be issued store credit.
Returns Without a Receipt
If returned to a store without a receipt, store credit will be issued at the lowest selling price within the past 60 days for merchandise returned in its original condition, with the exception of the following departments: Jewelry, Clothing & Accessories, Framed Art, or Cutlery.
Valid ID required.
Restrictions may apply for excessive returns without a receipt.
