How do I return an item? Standard Return Policy Returns can be made via our self-service website . Returns are subject to Apple's current sales and refund policies . If you change your mind, you have 14 days from the delivery date to return your standard hardware. Software returns are also accepted within the same timeframe, but only if the software is unopened. This is in addition to your rights as a consumer to return defective products. For more details, click here and see "What if I received a defective item?" below. If you do wish to return your order or some of the items it contains, please use our online self-service website or contact us directly. Please ensure you provide the following information: your web order number; the full address where we can collect the goods; a telephone number where we can contact you; a time slot during which our carriers can arrive. Upon receipt of your email, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Clearly marking this number on the packaging of the goods to be returned will expedite the processing. Please consult our step-by-step guide to find out the procedure to follow. iPhone and iPad returns — Wireless service cancellation Mobile phone operators have different service termination policies. Returning your iPhone or iPad does not automatically cancel or reset your mobile phone account; you are responsible for complying with your wireless service agreement, and any applicable charges associated with your mobile phone account remain your responsibility. For more information, please contact your provider. Refunds Once we receive your item, we will process your refund. If you cancelled a collection order and we charged you for it, we will refund you as soon as we receive your cancellation request. The processing of your refund depends on your payment method: If you paid by credit card, the corresponding amount will be credited to your issuing bank within 5 business days of receiving the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact your card issuer with any questions regarding when the credit will be deposited into your account. Products purchased on apple.com with an Apple Gift Card will be refunded in the form of an Apple Gift Card via email. If you paid for an item partly with your Apple Account balance, and you're eligible for a refund because you returned the item or canceled your order, we'll refund the corresponding amount to your Apple Account. However, we'll send this refund as an Apple Gift Card, delivered via email, if your Apple Account balance has reached or is close to its maximum limit. Exchange an item If you purchased your item at an Apple Store, you can return it to any Apple Store in the same country for an exchange. Exchanges are subject to product availability in store. We recommend calling your local Apple Store to confirm product availability or checking the Apple Store online to see if the item is available for pickup at your nearest store. Exchanges of certain personalized items or Macs with special configurations may not be possible at an Apple Store. Items ordered from the Apple Online Store that arrived damaged or did not match the order can be returned to any Apple Store in the same country or by contacting customer service. How long will it take to receive my refund? As soon as your merchandise arrives at Apple's warehouses, your refund will be processed. Please allow 5 to 7 days for it to appear in your account. What should I do if I receive a defective item? If you experience any problems with your new Apple product or suspect it's defective, please call AppleCare immediately to report it. If you experience problems with a non-Apple product or suspect it's defective, please call Apple Store Customer Service immediately to report it. Remember that any product that is defective upon arrival must be reported to the Apple Store before the 14-day return period expires. My invoice is not attached to the order? You will receive an official Apple invoice by email within 2 to 3 business days of your order being shipped.
