RETURNS Our Commitment To You We will attempt to give you a refund or exchange on every item purchased at any Canadian Tire store when you bring in your original receipt and issued Canadian Tire ‘Money’®. When you don’t have your receipt, we will offer a receipt look-up*. Return Policy Product Warranties/Product Recalls Damaged Or Defective Item Canadian Tire Refund Cards Our Commitment to You We will attempt to give you a refund or exchange on every item purchased at any Canadian Tire store when you bring in your original receipt and issued Canadian Tire "Money"®. When you don't have your receipt, we will offer a receipt look-up. Receipt look-up enables Canadian Tire stores to verify credit or debit card purchases within 90 days of the date of purchase. *Holiday Returns Policy exceptions: Christmas and Halloween décor may be subject to return restrictions. Please contact your local store for details or refer to the returns policy printed on the bottom half of your store receipt. Returns Policy Unopened items in original packaging returned with a receipt within 90 days of purchase will receive a refund to the original method of payment or will receive an exchange. Items that are opened, damaged and/or not in resalable condition may not be eligible for a refund or exchange. Valid photo ID may be required to confirm this information. There are some exceptions to our Returns Policy. These include: Returns, exchanges or warranties on an item without a receipt may not be accepted. A defective item is subject to the manufacturer's warranty and will be repaired or replaced. E-scooters and electronics (home audio & video, personal audio & video, cameras & accessories, communications) may only be returned within 30 days. All other rules apply. Auto electronics (backup cameras, Bluetooth, car audio, GPS, inverters, portable DVD, remote starters, satellite radio) may only be returned within 14 days. All other rules apply. Ink cartridges, media, and memory cards, books, DVDs, CDs, mattresses and portable beds may only be returned if unopened. All other rules apply. Live goods must be returned to original store of purchase. Special order hard parts and specific application automotive parts must be returned to original store of purchase. Bikes cannot be returned. Free tune up within 30 days with proof of purchase. The Reusable Balloon Bag cannot be returned unless found defective before use. Helium tanks are exchange-only Inflated balloons will not be returned if you missed your appointment time Outboard motors may only be returned within 30 days and the item must be new, unused, and in its original packaging. Used outboard motors will be repaired, if possible, in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty at an authorized service centre. Tents: 90-day refund or replacement if tent is returned in its unopened original packaging. 7-day replacement if packaging has been opened and tent has defective or missing parts. Repair and parts replacement after 7-day warranty ends (varies by manufacturer) Truck Bed Tents can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Hunting equipment, Remington kerosene and propane heaters: If the package is opened, contact the manufacturer for all warranty support issues. Some products at Canadian Tire are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
