A 30 day money back guarantee on all items, with a special Holiday Return Policy in effect between October 7 and December 21. Original shipping costs on returns are refunded.

HSN stands by every product we sell and we want you to be completely satisfied with the purchase you make. If any HSN purchase does not meet your expectations, you may return the item within 30 days of the date of receipt for a full refund including the original shipping and handling.

2011 HSN Holiday Return Policy

Place your holiday gift orders with HSN or hsn.com between October 7 and December 21 and you can enjoy our Holiday Return Policy until January 31, 2012. 

That means any order you place between October 7 at 12:00am ET and December 21 at 11:59pm ET can be returned or exchanged (while supplies last) and received in our warehouse by January 31, 2012 unless otherwise noted.  Personalized items are excluded.

  • Returns made by the purchaser are refunded to the original method of payment.
  • Returns made by gift recipients are refunded in the form or in-store credit that they can use towards a future purchase on HSN or hsn.com.

How do I return an item?

At HSN, returns are easy!

It’s so easy, here’s all you need to know:

1.  Apply the label that came on your packing slip to the outside of the package.

2.  Leave it in your mailbox or drop it off at a Post Office or UPS location. [read details]

That’s it! Now, pick the option that is most convenient for you.

Return Details

Option 1: Easy Returns with UPS or USPS

Affix the Easy Returns label directly over the original shipping label. Some products shipped directly from our suppliers do not come with and Easy Return label. Please see Option 2: Standard Returns in this situation.


1.       Drop off your package at any US Post Office (including your own mailbox!), The UPS Store®, UPS drop box or hand it to any UPS driver. For the closest UPS drop-off location, call 1-800-PICK-UPS® or schedule a free postal carrier pick-up* at https://carrierpickup.usps.com.

*Packages over 70lbs. can only be returned with UPS.


2.         Pay nothing up front. The Easy Returns processing service charge (includes insurance) will be deducted from your credit or refund, or in the event of an exchange, we will charge your credit card:

 ◦$6.95 for 5 lbs. or less $8.95 for more than 5 lbs.

Option 2: Standard Returns

1.       Affix the ‘Return On Your Own’ label directly over the original shipping label. Click here if you no longer have the packing slip.

2.       Ship the package back using the carrier of your choice. Please insure your package in case of loss or damage.

3.       Please note: When returning via the standard return label, we encourage you to protect yourself from loss or theft by insuring the return shipment. Please save the receipt until you receive your refund or exchange. We regret that we will not be able to issue a credit or refund for any items that are damaged or lost in shipping. NOTE: Return shipping costs for items shipped directly from the manufacturer may vary.

For Either Method of Return, Follow the Instructions Below


1.       FILL OUT THE MERCHANDISE RETURN FORM ATTACHED TO YOUR PRINTED LABEL

  • Separate the return form from your printed label.
  • Fill out the form to indicate what you are returning and the reason for the return. Include this form inside the package.
  • If your form of payment was credit card, the refund will be submitted to your credit card company the day we process your return. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly statement. 


2.       KEEP A RECORD OF YOUR PURCHASE

  • Tear the packing slip along the dotted line and keep the top portion.
  • If you are using the Easy Return label, please write the Easy Return tracking # down and keep it with the top portion for your reference.


3.       PACK THE ITEM FOR RETURN

  • Pack the item in the original packaging and remember to include all accessories, parts, and pieces for a full refund.
  • Include the bottom portion of the packing slip.


4.       RETURNING A GIFT

  • In order for us to process your GIFT return or exchange, contact Customer Service at 1-800-284-3900 between 8am – 1am Eastern Time.
  • A customer service representative will be happy to assist you in receiving HSN Spendable Kash (In-Store Credit) for your returned item.
  • If you would like the Gift Purchaser to receive the credit, simply follow steps 1 and 2 above

How do I return an item without a packing slip?

You can reprint your Easy Return with UPS or USPS Label or standard mailing label online. Just click on order status and log in. Select “Return Options” next the order you wish to return.

Some items, such as those mailed directly from our suppliers, are not eligible for Easy Returns. These items follow our standard return policy. Items that are not eligible for Easy Returns with UPS or USPS will not display the “print return label” on order status. Instead, use our online HSN Return Form and follow the directions below:

  1.        Please email us (You will need your order number, which you can get from order status) or call HSN Customer Service at 1.800.933.2887 (8 am-1 am ET) to obtain your Order Number, Account Number, Total Order Price, and the Return Address for your item. Please use this information to fill out the HSN Return Form .
  2.        Verify information for each item you want to return as items may have different return addresses.
  3.        Re-pack the item in the original manufacturer’s packaging and shipping box, if available. Cross out original shipping label information. Please be sure to include all parts.
  4.        Enclose the HSN Return Form with your return. Keep a copy of this form for your records.
  5.        Ship the package to the appropriate address as specified by HSN Customer Service. HSN does not reimburse return shipment costs. Return shipping charges may vary.

Can I print an Easy Return label from HSN.com?

To print an Easy Return label on hsn.com:

 1.  Click here to log into Order Status.

 2.  Enter the order number for the item you would like to return or scroll through your order history by clicking “PREVIOUS 30 DAYS” or “NEXT 30 DAYS” until you locate the order you’d like to return.

 3.  Click on the “Return options” link next to the order.

 4.  Ensure the button next to “Deduct the shipping fee from my refund or credit amount” is selected and click continue.

The return instructions and label page will then be displayed. This page is separated into three sections: (1) Return Instructions, (2) Return Information (which should be included with the item) and (3) the self-addressed Easy Return label.

Click on the “Print Return Label” button to print your Easy Return label and instructions.

If there are no return options provided:

Then the package was shipped directly from the manufacturer and the Easy Return label feature is not an option. In this situation please contact Customer Service at 1-800-284-3900.

When should I expect to receive credit for my return?

If you mailed in a return, we ask that you allow us 15 days to process your request. Our returns department typically credits returns to your account within 48 business hours after we receive the return at our warehouse. For example, your return should be credited to you within 7 business days if you sent your package via a 3-5 day delivery method.

Confirmation:

You will receive a return confirmation email once your return has been processed (if you don’t receive confirmation emails from us, click here to log into your account.). In addition, your order’s status will change in HSN’s online Order Status area from “Shipped” to “Returned.” To check your order’s status, you’ll need your order number and phone number. Can I ship back/return more than one item together?

In order for us to process your return expeditiously and ensure a swift refund, we recommend that you do not return items from different orders together. However, any items that were shipped together can be returned together in the same box.
