RONA return policy We hope you enjoy your purchase! If you are not completely satisfied, you can return most unused items to any RONA store within 90 days, with the following options. Exceptions and conditions apply*. Returns may be made in one of the following ways Online: You can return your products using the Returns Page In Store: Bring the item(s) with a copy of your order details email to a RONA store. Customer Service: Call 1-866-283-2239 (toll-free) Monday through Sunday, between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. (ET). Exceptions and conditions Major Appliances You can submit a return or exchange request within 30 days of purchase in original condition. Appliances marked as Online Only can be returned in-store, online through the Returns Page, or by calling RONA Customer Support at 1-866-283-2239. For all other appliance deliveries, please refer to the Returns and Refund of Appliances section for more details. Please report items that are damaged, defective, or missing within 48 hours from delivery, by filling out an online returns form here. Outdoor Power Equipment New Outdoor Power Equipment merchandise (including but not limited to, Mowers, Chain Saws, Snow Blowers, Generators, Pressure Washers, Trimmers, and Blowers) may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase, with the original receipt. RONA will refund the purchase price based on the original method of payment. The product must be unused/unopened to receive a refund. Used Outdoor Power Equipment merchandise is subject to the manufacturer's warranty. Plants (online & in-store) For replacement or refund, a receipt is required for any tree, shrub or perennial purchased at RONA within one year of the original purchase date. All other plants fall under our 90-day return policy. Holiday Items Holiday items must be returned on or before the day of the holiday (e.g., Christmas). Items purchased after the holiday are final sales, and no returns will be accepted. Trailers (online & in-store) Highway Trailers may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase and in the original province of purchase, with the original receipt and paperwork. The product must be in “like new” condition or contain a manufacturer defect to receive a refund. Damaged or defective products Defective products are subject to the legal or manufacturer’s warranty, as applicable. Please report items that are damaged, defective within 3 days of delivery (2 days for appliances) by filling out an online returns form here. Hazardous Products Hazardous Products that are flammable, contain gases, or contain lithium ion do not qualify for online return shipping. Please return these to your local store. Non-Refundable Items Shipping Charges Custom Products like tinted paint or stain, products that have been cut to length, modified, or customized in any way. Used/Open Hygienic Products like toilet seats, bidets, mask, gloves etc. Circuit Breakers and Electrical Panels. Gift cards, gift certificates and store credits cannot be exchanged or returned for cash or credit. Yard Bulk Items delivered directly to you (including but not limited to sod, soil, mulch, rock, limestone, salt, and wood) are non-refundable. Items purchased at a liquidation centre cannot be exchanged or returned at any RONA store. These are final sales. Yes, exchanges for identical items may be possible. Please contact RONA Customer Support at 1-866-283-2239 to see if an exchange can be processed. What should I do if I’m missing a part from my item? If a part is missing, first check the box for vendor contact information on how to request the missing part. If you need further assistance, call RONA Customer Support at 1-866-283-2239. I bought an item in-store, but I lost my receipt, can I still return it? If you lose your receipt, RONA may accept the return at its discretion, offering the lowest system price as a store credit or gift card. A valid government-issued I.D. is required for returns without a receipt. What should I do if an item is missing from my order? Sometimes, items in your order may be shipped from different warehouses, which means they could have separate tracking numbers. Please check your email for the shipping status and tracking details for each item. If an item shows as shipped but you haven’t received it, or are unable to track the order, please contact RONA Customer Support at 1-866-283-2239 as soon as possible, and we’ll help resolve the issue. Can I return a gift? Yes. For Online Only items, you’ll need a valid receipt for a return. For items purchased in-store, you may qualify for store credit with a valid government ID. Please note that in-store returns are subject to store discretion. How long will it take to receive my refund? Refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 5 to 7 business days to appear in your account. Can I return an item online if I purchased it in-store? Unfortunately, no. Items purchased in-store must be returned to a physical store. Can I return an item in-store if I bought it online? Yes. Simply bring the item(s) along with a copy of your order confirmation email to a RONA store for a return. How will my return be processed if I paid with a gift card or store credit? Refunds will be issued to the same method used for payment. If you paid with a gift card or store credit, your refund will go back to a gift card or store credit. I lost my online order confirmation email. Can I still return my order? Yes, you can! Visit any RONA store or contact Customer Support at 1-866-283-2239 to get your order details. Notwithstanding this Return Policy, RONA Inc. reserves the right to limit or refuse a return for a reason not stated above. This Return Policy may be modified at any time without notice.
