Synopsis

Online purchase may be returned to a retail store or shipped back. The maximum return period is 30 days, with many items having a 14 day return period. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable.

Exchanging or Returning Products Purchased Online.

Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely prior to opening the factory sealed product packaging. If you are not satisfied with your order, you may exchange or return your product at any Future Shop retail store in Canada.

For your convenience, we also accept returns by mail. Please fill out our Return Qualification Form to request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. It will take approximately two business days before an RMA is issued to you. IMPORTANT: Packages returned without an RMA number will be refused. Your RMA number is valid for 14 days. Simply return the product in the same condition as when you purchased it, with all manuals, accessories, and the packing slip. Click here to fill out our Return Qualification Form.

We would be pleased to exchange or give you a refund in-store on most items you buy online, up to 30 days after your receive your order. We will gladly exchange computers (desktop or laptop), monitors, printers, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, cellular and wireless devices, portable DVD players and air conditioners up to 14 days after you receive your order.

Due to copyright laws, computer and game console software, music CDs, DVDs and videos in opened packages may only be exchanged for the same item. Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective.

All products (both defective and non-defective) must be returned in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer. IMPORTANT: In the event that a returned order has items missing, the order may be refused, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.

On purchases made with a credit card, the same card used to make the purchase will be credited with the refund. The credit will be made within 5 to 7 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.

Need to exchange or refund your futureshop.ca purchase? It's as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Print out your purchase receipt from MY ORDERS.
  2. Bring your receipt, packing slip and new, unused item(s) to any Future Shop retail store for an exchange or full refund within:
    • 30 days of receiving your order for most product categories.
    • 14 days of receiving your order for Computers, Monitors, Printers, Laptop Computers, Camcorders, Digital Cameras, Cellular and Wireless devices, Portable DVD Players and Air Conditioners.
  3. Our customer service department will help you with your exchange or refund the full value of your purchase. The funds will be applied toyour credit card within seven (7) days.

If you would like to return a heavy goods item, please contact our Customer Care Department at 1-800-663-2275. Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective.

Web Only products

Products that are available online only can also be returned to any Future Shop store for a full refund upon presentation of the sales receipt. Exchanges for these products however cannot be handled at a Future Shop store since they are sold only through our online store.

Please note the following conditions:

Product packaging includes all manuals & accessories. There will be a nominal charge for missing packaging, accessories or manuals.

Returns and exchanges require your name, address, phone number and signature for audit and fraud prevention purposes. Valid photo ID may be requested to confirm this information. See the Privacy Policy for more details. Returns with original receipt will be made to the original method of payment. Store credit will be given for returns with gift receipts.

Due to copyright laws, computer and game console software, music CDs, DVDs and videos in opened packages may only be exchanged for the same title. Installation is not refundable if the service has been performed.

Exchanging or returning products purchased in-store

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchases, Future Shop will gladly give you a full refund or exchange. Simply return the product within 30 days (14 days for Computers, Monitors, Printers, Notebook Computers, Camcorders, Digital Cameras, Radar Detectors, Cellular and Wireless devices, Portable DVD Players and Air Conditioners) in its original condition and packaging (including all manuals & accessories) along with the original sales receipts. There will be a nominal charge for missing packaging, accessories or manuals.

We may also request your name, home address, and phone number for all returns and exchanges. Valid photo ID may be requested to confirm this information. See the Privacy Policy for more details.

Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. All transactions, including price protection, require your original Future Shop sales receipt or electronic invoice (obtainable anytime from "my orders") for online orders.
